It is a great honor to receive the recognition of a TORAY Digital Creations Award of Excellence and to have my work selected for inclusion in this fine and diverse collection of past and present winners.
When I first learned about fractals and found the art others were creating with them several years ago, I had no idea that this discovery would change my life. My own initial attempts were crude and I soon realized that I had a lot to learn in order to control my work and bring my ideas to life. The more I learn about fractals and work in this genre the more I am in awe of and inspired by their inherent beauty and artistic potential. Each image I create is a collage of layers which contribute shape, color, texture, light, shadow, and movement to the finished work.
I want to thank TORAY for continuing to promote and support digital artists and their work. And I especially wish to thank my fellow artists and friends for writing the wonderful formulas which become my paintbrushes and for teaching and inspiring me with their own work. |
