Thank you very much for selecting my work. As I was overwhelmed when viewing the high quality artworks selected for the last year's contest, it is unbelievable, yet of course joyful, to receive such an honor.
I worked on this piece while imagining "a mysterious box full of great nature inside." In the beginning stage of its production, the image looked like a little cozy box, like a miniature landscaped garden. However, as the image started developing, it ended up as a "Magic Box"- it is representing the inside of a box, which has grown beyond the space and is connected to a dense forest.
I participated in the fifth DCA during my coursework at my school. I owe my instructors for their guidance and help. I would like to take advantage of this opportunity to express my gratitude. |
