I am grateful for the prize Toray has given to my work in the 5th Digital Creation Awards (DCA).
The work I entered this time was born from a deep impression I got when I visited the British Museum Exhibition in Kobe. At the exhibition, I saw a stone plate from ancient Egypt, which became the motivational inspiration for me to create this.
I believe in the importance of techniques in creating CG works. At the same time, however, I also would like to represent humans' feelings, dreams, and thoughts in each work.
I would like to pay tribute to Toray, for promoting culture and art, and giving us creators such a wonderful opportunity to present our artworks. I also would like to thank all the members of the review committee, as well as others who worked for this contest.
