| This picture I painted on a dreary November day in reminiscence of the last summer. That they should be remembered forever, the lavish colors of nature, the magnificent flowers in the warm light of the sun. That it be rescued before a harsh winter what I saw in summer and the feelings it gave. |

| Toray Industries Inc., I feel very honoured to be one of the winners of the SIXTH ANNUAL DIGITAL CREATION AWARDS 2001. For me this award means a wonderful international and very important recognition of my work as digital painting artist. I created especially for this contest a new painting naming it "Summer Flowers" on an sad and rainy day I painted, remembering last summer-to make the flowers eternaly remembered- the lavish colours of the nature, the wonderful pretty flowers shining in the warmth of the sunlight. All the unforgettable impressions I had and felt that time of summer,- saved before a cold hard winter.... I had the first experience with digital painting approx. 3 years ago. Writing also poems and lyrics for songs. But over the past year digital painting reached for me a high status and now became even more important than literature. Let me tell you that I am very impressed and find the worldwide engagement of Toray marvellous, supporting digital artists by excellent exhibitions and international contests. The prize of the Excellence Award encourages me to always go on with my artistical development, according to my maxim"of satisfying my daily curiosity". My Thank you, also to the members of the specialized jury, for the award or to be precise for the receipt of this important international recognized and desired award of Toray Japan. I feel very happy and send you my best regards. |
