[Comments on the prize-winning work] |
| The warmth of the sun; the smell of a breeze; and plants that are standing tall towards the sky. They all never fail to refreshingly move my heart. Further, such a moving feeling that they give me is indispensable in my journey to search for something that is beautiful. This time, on the theme "Journey of Heart," I attempted to express the journey of heart that is constantly searching for beauty. It is a work in which there are suggestions of a variety of things, and transformation of the heart occurs. |

| I am very happy, and moved to receive such an honorable award. I am grateful from the bottom of my heart to all the screening committee members who gave my work such high recognition, and to those who set up this wonderful space for art presentation and devoted to the management of it. To me, this work was one piece of a picture in which every thought of mine is integrated into one, by a brush and a mouse, as a part of a quest on this particular subject. I poured my thought that "there is something one can only express by picture" into this work. This means that there is nothing I can possibly describe in my words about it. The work is complete when a new world opens up within the audience's heart. I am truly thankful for the opportunity to present my own work in public. Thank you very much. |
