| Thank you for selecting my work. This artwork has been given a rather exaggerated title, which is "Space of symbiosis." When I was working on it, however, I wasn't thinking about anything thematic like that. When it was completed, there was such a combination of colors and forms. My approach is always that way-- without thinking too deeply, painting with the natural feeling that occurs to me. As looking at my own work after it was completed, I thought, the atmosphere of a chaotic city within which many lives coexist, was well expressed. For that reason, I felt this work would be a good fit for one of the themes of the 7th DCA, and so I picked it to enter. |
