*My mother wears the bright red dress in the middle when she dances the flamenco.
*She wears a pant-dress on the right when she tells fortunes while using a yo-yo.
*She wears the dress with the spiral pattern on the left on dates with young men

| On receiving the award |
|
I am simply overjoyed!
When I heard I had won an award I couldn't help but punch my fist into the air and shout "Hooray!"
I was at the computer day in, day out, moving the mouse around, muttering to myself as I couldn't quite get it right--"not this way, not that way."
Then one day, one of the characters I was drawing seemed to be smiling, and my own expression likewise changed.
When I felt sinister, the characters also showed that on their faces.
All the same, I love all the characters I have created.
I don't have much of a philosophy of art, but I really enjoy the time I now spend sitting at the computer doing nothing but drawing characters.
These days I often recall playing with dress-up dolls when I was a child.
I would like to say "thank you" to all the judges. |
