About the work |
 |
| I gathered fragments of the scenery within a memory I have of being surrounded by pleasant light. I discovered that in the fragment of space-time, in which time had stopped, light could also be stopped as if it were floating in space. The fragment looks just as if it were dyed using an agent made of light. I also discovered that stopping time could also bring forth an effect resembling the premonition that a story is about to begin. |

Thank you for selecting my work.
Several years ago, when I traded my paint brushes for a mouse, I began experimenting to see whether original art could be achieved in digital pictures. In the course of repeated trial and error, late last autumn I reached the conclusion that the taste, in other words the digital expression on the screen equivalent to the texture of a painting, is what's original. At the same time, I realized there was a difference between space-time as seen by the naked eye and space-time residing in memory, and I started trying to take the space-time image from my memory and recreate it in a visible form.
This work represents my first trial. I thank you profoundly for providing a chance to display a work that marks a new start for me.
