This year I made a two-part entry:

(2) "Close up of Maman & Ladies"

I couldn't believe that I'd won the Grand Prize...
I was contacted by the Toray DCA Secretariat and I sat stunned, staring at the email I had received. Even though I still really can't believe it, I'm very, very pleased.
Sometimes I go walking and pass through Inokashira Park on my way to Kichijoji. There are different performances and market stalls when the weather is nice on the weekends, and glimpsing at each one as I walk makes me feel like I did when I went to festivals as a child. The performers are a little awkward and of questionable content, but they do have charm and are funny. I find myself imagining, "If I were to do something…?" My entry is the result of these daydreams.
