| About the work |
|
Flowers are able to express the feelings of individuals.
I don't know whether it's an objective or subjective feeling that people get when looking at a flower, but this is something that I've observed in people walking the streets as I go about my day.The two works of art I submitted depict a cheap restaurant and a train ride home.
I glimpse those human emotions in these everyday, relaxing scenes. |

I am very happy to have won Special Encouragement Award this year, after having won Excellence Award last year.
Developing the concept of last year's piece "Ikebana," I created this year's entry by adding a scene from everyday life, leaving the overall concept and theme unchanged.
Compared to my previous works, recently there are more elements featuring conventional artistic techniques, making it easier to depict a piece sensuously as the concept has expanded, and some pieces are created completely without the use of computers. I hope to create even better works of art in the future. |
