I chose "Color, Brilliance, Vividness ()" as my theme.
This time I attempted to create a portrait of a beautiful Japanese woman. I tried to depict my concept of Japan figuratively alongside a code (visual language) for rendering shape, meaning, color and quality. |

Thank you for choosing my artwork for the second consecutive year.
Since last year I have been continuing my search to convey texture on screen. I would like to demonstrate that the quality of an image stored in one's memory exerts more influence on expression than what is conveyed by the form and tone of a motif. This time I chose Japan as my subject.
I am very grateful to have had the chance to share my findings again this year. |
