The award ceremony for the Toray Digital Creation Awards 2007 was held on May 11 at the headquarters building of Toray Industries, Inc.
Although the drizzly weather on the day left a lot to be desired, some 38 people attended DCA 2007, including prizewinners, and their friends and families. Many of those attending came from far away again this year.
During the award ceremony, the awarding of honors took place after comments had been made on the DCA Junior and DCA Grand Prize, Excellence Award, Special Encouragement Award and other prizewinning pieces. After the award ceremony a reception was held for the prizewinners. The two-hour long award ceremony and reception was a big success giving the prizewinners the opportunity to display their pieces, have commemorative photos taken in front of the printed scrolls of these works, and become better acquainted with one another in the peaceful atmosphere.
