COMMENT

The computer, for myself, is a reliable means of expression. At times, the computer can express my visions with accuracy, and on the spot. At other times, I can incorporate a number of things from the natural world onto the screen, helping me discover in more detail an image of what I had only vaguely conceived. For this particular work, I wanted to create an image of something "coming to life" from someplace very deep inside. I believe I succeeded in creating something of interest out of an object which exists very naturally in our world, and am happy to be recognized for my success by this award. I thank you very much. I hope to continue creating an artwork which seems like, and at the same time, doesn't seem like a "something" known with familiarity.
