The news of receiving this award rendered me without a complete intelligent thought.Unusual, I was speechless. This is an honor. Also, this is my first entry in any type of art contest in the artworld. My entry is a collage composite of our visit with my husband's family this past summer in our new home My husband's untimely death in December lends as greater personal significance to my entry. It is with his support and that of my family and friends that I am where I am today, artistically and otherwise. I used an Olympus D-300L Digital Camera and Adobe PhotoShop 3.0 for this piece.
