I have been living in Japan as a foreign student for just five months.
The TORAY Digital Creation Awards is the first competition I have
ever entered, so I am all the happier to have won this prize. This year, the short deadline and my own lack of skill meant that I was only a runner-up, but next year I will be trying for first prize. Finally, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Tsukuba University Professor Yasushi Harada and Shigeru Oka of Sogozokei for their support while I was working on this project, and to the judges who selected my design.
