| I am very happy and honored to have been selected as the Honorable Mention Award winner at the fourth Digital Creation Awards. In addition to respectfully acknowledging Toray Industries Inc., which has hosted this cultural project, I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to all the judges. My work is based on the theme of "Nirvana" as the title suggests. The world was created and for thousands of years human beings have traveled throughout it. During that time, mankind has formed a belief in God. This has given rise to eternal questions about death, birth and the meaning of human existence. In my prize-winning work I attempted to symbolically depict the extinction of humans through death, regeneration by birth, nirvana, the death of Buddha and the transmigration of the soul. |
