Due to the impact of deteriorating economic conditions that began last year, Toray is also experiencing, as never before, a serious condition and as such is reviewing its activities in various fields. As with DCA, despite having considered various means in an effort to some how continue the program, we have concluded, taking a range of conditions into consideration, that a suspension of DCA for the next season is unavoidable
Since its start in 1996, DCA has received many entries from countries worldwide for 13 consecutive years thanks to everyone’s understanding and cooperation. Although the suspension is a great disappointment, we like to believe that DCA has shown, in the field of computer picture where anyone take a challenge, the happiness and the possibility of creativity to people around the world and has served its purpose in cultivating digital artists.
We hope for your understanding and extend our sincerely apologies to those applicants who looked forward to entering their work for DCA next year and to those who enjoyed viewing the DCA web pages.
