I make a habit of walking around with my digital camera, and when I see a beautiful sky or interesting scenery I take a picture of it. I even keep blurred photos, or those where the color turns out strange, because they sometimes turn out to make interesting materials later on. As a result, Ifve amassed quite a number of files of digital photos on disc. |

Ideas that will lead to the creation of an artwork will somehow pop up in my mind. I jot down these ideas on paper or on the computer using a stylus pen so that I donft forget them. |

I create rough shapes using three-dimensional polygons. After that, I divide or otherwise adjust these shapes, converting the shapes into subdivision surfaces. |

I render the shapes by adjusting the light source and material, paying particular attention to translucency. At this point, I also create a number of different rendered images using a variety of different variables and settings. |

I then start layering photos and other images over the rendered image to add depth to the tones. I sometimes layer copies of the same image. I also use purposefully skewed or blurred images to create the impression of light. |
